Jerrod Weems, MSN, CRNA, is the TANA District V Director and an elected member of the Hamblen County Board of Education in East Tennessee. A dedicated advocate for CRNAs, he has been actively involved in grassroots mobilization, legislative engagement, and state-level health policy initiatives. In addition to his work in healthcare, Jerrod plays a key role in shaping public education policy in his community—focusing on governance, student outcomes, and equitable resource allocation. With experience in both clinical practice and public leadership, he brings a unique, real-world perspective on how nurse anesthetists can successfully transition into roles of civic influence and public service.
