You are invited to submit a poster that advances scientific and clinical understanding and presents or advances new ideas on any topic in the entire spectrum of the art and science of Nurse Anesthesia.

TANA is sponsoring a dissemination and discussion of the scholarly work of SRNAs, CRNAs and anesthesia Faculty in the state of Tennessee as part of the TANA 85th Annual Meeting on October 21-23, 2022.

Posters will be presented during an informal session to allow authors to exhibit and discuss their work in progress or completed work. SRNAs are especially encouraged to submit posters for presentation. This session is designed to foster a collegial environment where CRNAs, SRNAs, and Faculty can discuss their research, as well as make or renew relationships to help foster collaboration.

General Requirements

Posters must be original work - group work is acceptable. There must be an SRNA, CRNA, or anesthesia Faculty member within the state of Tennessee included on the poster. The title of your poster should be short to attract attention.

Authors

Authors are encouraged to attend with their poster during the presentation.

Size

  • SRNAs: Poster size may be any size due to school requirements.
  • CRNAs: 36 x 48 inches

Abstract

Your abstract must have your name, school, and email listed at the top left page. Please do not use bullets; complete sentences are required. If you use acronyms, they must be defined with first use. A disclosure statement is, also, required. Limited to one page maximum, single spaced. Abstracts will be published in a symposium presentation booklet (this does not qualify as professional publication of an abstract). The deadline to submit Abstracts for the 2022 TANA Poster Symposium Book and be able to have a poster judged has passed. You may still bring a poster to the TANA convention to present with all other posters by following the guideline included here.  Abstracts submitted after this date will not be printed.

Setup & Take Down

All posters will need to be set up on Friday, October 21st from 6:30am-9:00am. They will remain up all day on the 21st to be viewed during conference break times. Posters can be removed after 11:00am on Saturday, October 22nd.
