Dear TANA Member:
We wanted to officially notify you that on October 22nd this year at our TANA Annual Business Meeting, there will be TANA bylaw changes presented to the membership for a vote.
In accordance with our current bylaws:
ARTICLE X
Amendments
"The Members shall be notified of the intent to amend the Bylaws and provided a draft of such amendments at least thirty days prior to the annual
meeting. At the annual meeting, the proposed amendments to the Bylaws shall be submitted for a vote of
those in attendance. Amendments to these Bylaws of TANA may be adopted
by an affirmative vote of two-thirds of those members present and voting.
The TANA Bylaws Committee has been working on bylaw updates over the last several months. These revisions have been submitted to the TANA Board, which were approval to present to the TANA membership. The changes all address revisions that were made last year that needed to be tweaked.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact TANA Bylaws Committee Chair Wayne Sims, CRNA, DNP, APN, or the TANA office by reply to this email. You may click below to see the proposed changes:
1) Quorum at Annual Business Meeting
3) Nominating Committee and removal of requirement to interview candidates.
Thank you for your review.
