Nursing Ranked as the Most Trusted Profession for 22nd Year in a Row

The nursing profession extended its run to 22 years as the most trusted profession in 2023, in the latest Gallup Honesty and Ethics Poll. Gallup notes that “Americans’ ratings of nearly all 23 professions measured in Gallup’s 2023 Honesty and Ethics poll are lower than they have been in recent years.” Of the nursing profession, Gallup said: “Nurses remain the most trusted profession, with 78% of U.S. adults currently believing nurses have high honesty and ethical standards.”
