With over 20 years of nursing experience, Christye Gilliland has dedicated 14 years to the field of anesthesia as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Starting as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, she progressed through an Associate Degree in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing, ultimately achieving a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2021. Christye is also a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau International, recognizing her academic excellence and leadership in nursing.
Before assuming the role of Vice President of Anesthesia Services at Lifelinc in 2023, Christye worked as a CRNA for 11 years, including six years as Chief CRNA, during which she also served as the clinical coordinator for anesthesia students from UT Memphis, Union University, and Arkansas State University. Her clinical expertise as a nurse encompasses cardiac ICU, neonatal ICU, and medical ICU.
In her current role, she oversees anesthesia services across multiple sites in Memphis and the surrounding counties, as well as in Greenville, SC. Additionally, she is responsible for creating site budgets, negotiating contracts, and recruiting and hiring staff.
