The AANA Board of Directors approved the updated Considerations for Adding New Activities to Individual CRNA Scope of Practice at its November meeting. This document is intended to provide the CRNA with a tool to conduct an analysis of whether a specific procedure or technique is related to anesthesia, sedation, pain management, or related nursing services that are within the individual CRNA’s scope of practice.
