AANA Reviewing FTC Crackdown on Non-Competes

On Jan. 5, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced  a proposed ban on non-compete contracts. This potentially sweeping regulation could affect millions of workers, including a large number of healthcare workers, like CRNAs. The rule would ban such agreements moving forward and would require current agreements in effect to end within six months of the rule’s adoption.

The AANA is reviewing the rule and will look to comment within the 60-day comment period. Members with questions can always reach out to the AANA through our website or by emailing [email protected]
